Movie Story : Guddu, a 13-year-old boy, works as a helper at a roadside tea stall to support his family, since his father, a former musician now penniless and drinking heavily, cannot, and his singer mother has left them. Music is Guddu's greatest passion, and while delivering chai he becomes so absorbed watching a wedding band rehearse that he loses all sense of time, dreaming of one day joining them. Alongside him are other street children who work near the stall, and after wandering into a carnival where an orchestra plays for money, they decide to form a band of their own. The film captures the hopes of countless poor children who have nothing but a burning passion that needs nurturing to succeed.
