Movie Story : Gumnaami is a historical drama inspired by the Mukherjee Commission hearings, held between 1999 and 2005 to examine the mystery surrounding Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's death. The story dramatizes the courtroom-style debates over three competing theories. An investigative journalist who believes the Gumnaami Baba theory faces off against the official lawyer defending the plane crash account. Their confrontation also brings the theory of death in Russia into the spotlight.
