Movie Story : Jhalki is a drama about a sharp-witted nine-year-old girl who sets out to find her younger brother, Babu, after he is snatched into a brutal world of child labor. Trapped in a bleak, gloomy workplace, the boy has no escape from the exploitation around him. Drawing strength from a folk tale about a tireless sparrow, Jhalki relies on her resourcefulness and quick thinking to track him down. Her journey ends with the rescue of Babu and many other enslaved children.
