Movie Story : A middle-class husband and wife have a happy life together until the wife is diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. As the family faces emotional and financial strain, the husband turns to relatives for help but is turned away, and he is forced to sell the ancestral home. Watching another patient suffer through treatment, he begins to doubt whether his wife should keep fighting, and he ultimately grants her last wish to travel the world together. After her death, he struggles with grief and money troubles before buying back the family home, and on the way back he tells their young daughter the story of her mother's illness, which she was too young to remember.
