Movie Story : Mr. Meacham, a wood carver, has long entertained the children of his town with stories of a fierce dragon living deep in the Pacific Northwest forests. His daughter Grace, a forest ranger, dismisses the tales until she encounters Pete, a homeless orphan who insists he lives in the woods with a giant green dragon named Elliott. Pete's descriptions match the legendary creature closely enough to make Grace wonder what is real. Teaming up with Natalie, a young girl whose father runs the local lumber mill, Grace searches for answers about Pete's past and the dragon's true nature.
