Movie Story : Saving General Yang is a 2013 historical action adventure set during the Song Dynasty, when a rival nation launches an invasion and the emperor turns to general Yang Ye, played by Adam Cheng, to defend the realm. Yang's standing at court is already fragile because of a bitter feud with Pan Renmei, which began when one of Yang's sons accidentally killed Pan's son. On the battlefield, Pan's forces abandon Yang, leaving him cornered by Yeli Yuan, an enemy general determined to avenge his father by taking Yang's life. When Yang's seven sons learn of their father's peril, they set out to rescue him no matter the cost.
